Etse-Ada uses cookies through google analytics to measure user engagements and visits to this site. The data collected through these cookies is anonymous data.

How to exercise your right to opt out:

  • Site User: By leaving the Sites - data collection stops once you leave the Etse-Ada Site.
  • Individual Client: Termination of the contract by contacting Etse-Ada to cancel your account. Retention of data after termination will be in line with our terms found here.
  • Employees or Agents of a Client Organisation: Contact the Etse-Ada to request restriction of processing until a replacement contact is established, after which your data will be deleted.

Third Party Processors

Etse-Ada stores and processes information using third-party software services providers and data processors. Etse-Ada has ensured that it uses service providers whose compliance with data protection legislation is robust enough to meet its requirements. Safeguards such as encryption are also in place to ensure that data is secure. Etse-Ada’s service providers also ensure that only authorised personnel have access to servers where data is stored and processed.

Your rights

  • You have a right to be informed of the data Etse-Ada collects, when Etse-Ada collects it, how Etse-Ada uses it and changes to the way Etse-Ada processes your data.

You do not have a right to data portability as Etse-Ada's processing of your data is only for Etse-Ada's legitimate interests.
  • While the right to object does not apply to individuals in a commercial relationship with us, the right to withdraw consent and restrict processing in line with the right to opt out will apply.
  • Individuals in a commercial relationship with us also have a right to portability in order to securely move and use your data across a range of services where reasonable.
  • Individuals who have been in communication with us beyond the website but are not yet in a commercial relationship with us have the same rights as employees of client companies.

Subject Access Request

Please Contact the Etse-Ada, as stated at the beginning of this page, including the following Information in your request:

  • Subject line saying: Subject Access Request.
  • Copy of Identification Document
  • Your Etse-Ada username, if you are a client

If you are a client, please send the request from the email address currently registered on the Etse-Ada Site.

Your request will be acknowledged within 7 days and processed or Etse-Ada may ask for further information within 14 days.

Requests will be responded to via email.

Information Disclosure Obligations under national laws

Personal data held by us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. However, where Etse-Ada is bound by national laws to make certain disclosures to public authorities or regulatory bodies or bound by court order to make such disclosures in a legal proceeding, Etse-Ada will comply with such obligations.

Etse-Ada will only inform the data subject of such a disclosure if the law or court order in question permits it.

Data security and protection

Etse-Ada ensures that data is kept secure using industry standards on information security management. However, there is no guarantee that measures for security will always prevent unauthorised access. Where unauthorised access occurs, Etse-Ada will notify you and take reasonable steps to remedy the situation and to mitigate it in the future.

Where Etse-Ada communicates through electronic means with you, Etse-Ada will also ensure that it takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the communication medium is free from viruses and is secure. However, Etse-Ada cannot guarantee absolute security as no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Please also take reasonable steps to ensure that there is no unauthorised access to your data by ensuring that your devices and credentials are kept safe and private.

Breach

In the event of a data breach, the Information Commissioner’s Office and the affected data subjects involved will be notified. Where it is not possible to give individual notice to you, a public notice will be placed on this website.

Changes to this policy

If in the future changes are made to this Privacy Policy, Etse-Ada will post the new policy on this website. If the new policy is somehow materially less restrictive or protective of your privacy than the current policy, Etse-Ada will not apply the less protective aspects of the revised policy to information you have previously provided to us without first obtaining your consent.

Etse-Ada reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy in the future. Please periodically review this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this website and Etse-Ada's services following a change in the Privacy Policy represents consent to the new policy to the fullest extent permitted by law.
